Stacy Goldfarb is a dyslexia and learning disabilities specialist. She is an educator with over 20 years of teaching experience. Ms. Goldfarb received her Master’s in Education from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is certified as an elementary education teacher, reading specialist, special education teacher and a learning disabilities teacher consultant. Additionally, she a certified in the following instructional programs: Wilson Reading System, Seeing Stars, LiPS and Visualizing and Verbalizing.
Ms. Goldfarb has taught at the elementary school level as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, special education teacher and as learning disabilities teacher consultant. She is the dyslexia specialist in her district providing teacher training and education as well as parent training and workshops.
Ms. Goldfarb is a highly trained specialist in both reading and dyslexia. She tutors students from kindergarten through high school using a combination of research-based programs and materials developed to meet the individual needs of each student.
Ms. Goldfarb is a member of the International Dyslexia Association and is actively involved in the New Jersey Branch of the IDA. She is also a member of the Council for Exceptional Children as well as the International Literacy Association.
Ms. Goldfarb received her bachelor’s degree from SUNY Stony Brook and her Master’s Degree in Health Services Administration from the George Washington University.
